Dogons

Description

Dogons

Contrary to the name Dutch Dogons, these beads are not of Dutch manufacture, although they are well known for making large wound blue beads. These are of Italian manufacture and are usually from the 1800's. The style however goes back easily into the 1700's. The name Dogon comes from the popularity among the Dogon people of Africa. These strands are around 29 inches long and have over 40 beads on them.

$80.00 per strand
